Nicole worked till eight tonight so I met her to walk her home. On the way back we noticed there was a large crowd between the opera house, the theater and another building in Lincoln Center so we went over to look. Earlier in the day I had been sitting at one of the tables in the little park between the streets and noticed a lot of people dressed up (tuxes and everything) to go see the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. Turns out they had set up a large screen in between the buildings and they were broadcasting the performance and Yo-Yo Ma was the guest performer.
There were a lot of people who had brought chairs and were sitting there listening; it reminded me of the symphony at Deer Valley. We had a great time standing there watching the performance. The screen was enormous and had great picture quality. I must say though, Yo-Yo (yes it makes me laugh too) was really getting into the performance. It was quite the sight to watch him play. His movements and faces almost take your mind off the performance, especially with a screen that size and the camera zooming in on him. His ability with the cello though makes up for his dramatic moves and funny, ridiculous at times, faces.
Though not as refined as Nicole, I enjoyed being there. It is great to have so many opportunities to experience such things.

Dear Clawson's- apparently either i was too crass in my last post, or we are no longer friends and I wasn't informed. Anyway, I promise from now on I will have primary-style language as not to offend anyone. I'm glad you guys had a good time out on the town...-Jenny:)

I remember the first time I saw Yo Yo. He was on Arthur and he was portrayed as a rabbit with goofy black hair and glasses. Spencer I was also moved. Sounds like you guys are finding high culture, it couldn't have happened to finer people. So how are your jobs going? Spence are you the CEO of anything yet?
Sounds fun guys. Angie and I often yearn for the "out of the bubble" experience you are having.
Keep posting cool stuff you experience there. It's fun to see.
Take care.
