US OPEN!!!

So, Spen, Kev, Heather and I decided to risk it all and go deep into the heart of Queens in the hopes of making it to the US OPEN!!! Even though some said we wouldn't make it...we did. (And we some some lovely graffiti along the way). We stood in line for a grounds pass in the blazing sun for what I would call an hour, but I'd have to check with Spen to recall how long it really was.
The wait was worth it. We saw Safin, Henin, and Tim Henman play. (We got there late in the day...for we would have seen more). It was fabulous and I am sure we will return next year as I didn't get to see dear Andy face to face and steal his sweaty towel from his ballboy...it wouldn't be for me of course, only for my sweet Tanner.
