Don't be hatin 3

Spen and I rode in a 50 mile bike race in June down in Spring City. Howdy! It was beautiful for the first twenty miles...then came the turkey farms and herd of cattle. Really, there was a herd of cattle, from one side of the road to the other, coming right at us. I am not going to lie...I was scared.

Spen is a great bike rider. He kept riding along, happy as a clam. Meanwhile, Nicole kept cursing Lance Armstrong for making it look so easy and thinking she was going to die if this stupid bike race didn't get over soon. When 9 miles an hour is all your body can produce...who wouldn't be having those thoughts.

In the end, it was great and we just might do it again somewhere up here in New England.

Sounds like fun, but trust me, the cattle were more scared of you than you could ever be of them... aren't farming communities the best! (Wink, Wink!)
