Whilst being frugal, we choose to bring food from home to a place where one would normally purchase it. We got quite a few looks as it looked like we were eating big spoonfuls of ricotta and asaigo cheese. No, people of New York, we do not eat ricotta and asaigo cheese by the spoonful for dessert. We are resourceful people who are forced to spend too much on rent. So, for FHE we took our lemon sorbet and berries out to the park. We also discussed what it really means to "hie" as in "If You Could Hie to Kolob". Being that I just finished a book on the making of the Oxford English Dictionary, it seems befitting to include the definition of hie:
Main Entry: hie
Pronunciation: 'hI
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): hied; hy·ing or hie·ing
Etymology: Middle English, from Old English hIgian to strive, hasten
intransitive verb : to go quickly : HASTEN
transitive verb : to cause (oneself) to go quickly
And this post is for my roomie Emily Myers McGuire, who told my Mother to tell me to update my blog. Sorry, Em. I'm slow. But, tell Garret that I love your blog and check it about everyday!
