Update

The past two weeks have been great. The girls aren't fussy at all and they sleep straight through the night. Ok not really, but they are pretty good. It is a lot of work to take care of two (Nicole and her mom are probably laughing because they would probably say "What does he know?"). It has been so great to have Kathryn out here to help us out and we are so thankful. We coulnd't have gotten through these first weeks, nor the coming, without her. Nicole is amazing and is a great mother, and dotes on the girls. She is so good with them. I don't know how she keeps up the energy.

The past couple of Saturdays I have taken the girls on a walk through Central Park. Below are some of the pictures.

Sheep's Meadow

This is right where you enter Central Park from our apartment. This large lawn is packed on the weekends. Sometimes there isn't a free space on the entire lawn.

They were so excited they didn't know what to do with themselves.

The Rambles

One of the best parts about Central Park is the people watching. Every Saturday and Sunday there is an area where all these intense roller skaters and roller bladers get together. This lady was pretty into it. A video really would do it more justice.

The girls were so impressed by this guy. He stacked drink containers on his head to show how smooth he could skate. While we were there he got up to three. If you think this guy is cool, his friend was even better. Introducing...

FLONESS!!!

Yes he is for real! The picture realy doesn't do him justice. His roller blades are blinged up with jewels and decorations and he wears the coolest shades ever. Even better though is his ride. See below.

Is that not the coolest ride you have ever seen?!

Elle and Sophie were happily sitting together, showing sisterly love,

when Sophie decided she didn't like it so much.

She progressively got upset. Notice, Elle couldn't care in the slightest.

Then Sophie thought she would push Elle away. Elle's face is hilarious. She was completely oblivious.

Sophie tried with all her might, but Elle wouldn't budge. I guess there isn't as much sisterly love as we thought.

Ready for their first pediatrician visit (everyone at the doctor's office said they are the cutest twins they have ever seen).

How do you tell identical twins apart? Grandma helped by painting Sophie's toenails. Notice Sophie still has her bracelet on from the hospital (we don't want to risk it).

Elle's hat

I've been told the girls have my furowed brow. What do you think?

I LOVE your updates. Thank you so much. Those pictures are so sweet and precious. That's so nice Nicole's mom is there. I couldn't have done one baby without my mom! Whenever you get some spare time, we're all loving the pictures. Hope you all are having a good night.

I love the pictures! Especially of the "sisterly love". They are so cute and I'm glad they can get introduced to the culture so early by going to Central Park.

Way cute babies! That's really funny that you painted one of your babies toenails to tell them apart. I guess I've never thought about that being a problem, that surely is a real problem. Good luck!
